Merlin Studio is my motion and graphic design studio that I freelance for, and we needed a 3D web hero to demonstrate the 3D services that we provide our clients. The branding has a wizard mascot, so I wanted to incorporate that as the first thing you see on the website. The goal was to have a 3D loop animation as well. I played around a lot with lighting and atmospheric fog, using the color palette of the merlin brand for the light emission and vignette.
